The report describes the Equality Ombudsman’s experience of promoting Roma rights, the aim being to determine how far this work has progressed and what further measures need to be taken.
On 9th August 2011 Ms Angela Kerins, Chairperson of the Equality Authority, launched their 2010 Annual Report in Dublin. As Ms Kerins states in her foreword, “this Annual Report not only details the achievements of 2010 but is a barometer of the positive contribution that an innovative and dynamic organisation has achieved in changing times.”

The Slovak National Centre for Human Rights (SNCHR) recently published the English version of the Report on the observance of human rights including the observance of the principle of equal treatment in the Slovak republic for the year 2009.
The report provides general, but at the same time exhaustive evaluation of the observance of the fundamental human rights in the general part of the publication and a more detailed view of the observance of the principle of equal treatment in the special part.
